This one has taken too long to get around to writing, but a few weeks back we went out with the family to HDiner in Geneva and had a great night.
This restaurant is a Harley Davidson themed American diner serving up classics like burgers, hotdogs and ribs while surrounded by plenty of memorabilia.
But what really made our night was just how friendly the staff was and how accommodating they were for the family.
To start with we were running a bit late, kids will do that at the best of times, and we were also not expecting so much traffic. So we called ahead to make sure that they knew we were still coming and did not give away our table. What was also nice was at this time they advised we could park. They do not have their own parking and so we had to park in the empty parking spaces for the offices across the street.
As soon as we were in they showed us to our table and placed the pram we had bought with us in a place out of the way of other customers. We got menus fast and there was plenty of choice on the kids menu for the little ones. There is also a small play area to keep the kids entertained while waiting for the food to come out.
The food all looked great and tasted pretty good as well. I wont lie, the burgers were not the best we have had (still a big fan of Rando Burger) but they were pretty good, and the other advantage it has over our preferred burger place is other choices as well. There seems to have been a lot of care put into the branding of this restaurant and this shows mostly with the kids meal, the box and toy that came with it.
The staff were super friendly and even let the big rat (Kieran) take a few sweets from the rolling desert cart they have which totally made his night.
We had a great evening and hope others might enjoy this place as well. Maybe some time we will try the Morges location as well.
